Could you convey the knowledge of a cultural heritage through a physical experience of art?
A video essay that depict parts from the cultural heritage of Tibro: the handcraft of furniture. This provides a highlight onto the cultural heritage that may attract especially the young generations and give inspiration for new thoughts and visions for future establishment in Tibro as a society; social, economical and cultural. The essay constitute a selection within the range from wood to produced furniture of interior design and will promote the relation between the craftman and their craft: their awareness and care for their work, and in a more fysical way, convey an impression of the work made by the hand in its domesticiled environment. The narration gives from a poetic representation through visual and audiobased occurences where the process of the work of the craftman is the burden for the format of the video; the intensity, rythm and cronology.
